The PiC Family
Patti I. Cortez is a Registered Nurse and mom of three. Although
her grandfather, Hyman Warsager, and her father, Raymond Warsager
(http://raymondtheartist.com/),
were well-known artists, Patti had little interest in following in
their footsteps. However, after having her three kids she started
crafting as a hobby and discovered that she too had a passion for
creating. Her art features a mixed media palette, using primarily
polymer clay, rhinestones, vintage photos, and trinkets from her
children's possessions such as bottle caps, broken jewelry, and
small charms; all symbolic of the things they love.
Patti's husband, Ricky Cortez, is a singer/song-writer/musician,
and has been her biggest supporter. Their love of creative
expression, whether it be through art, music or chocolate, lives on
through the PiC website and all who enjoy it.
Together with their kids, Patti and Rick continue PiC as a
mobile online business, in hopes of one-day acquiring another
storefront location.
